Special Abilities


You may pick one of the following options as a way to make your character truly extraordinary:

Additional keyword

  • Dual occupation, dual culture, dual religion etc
  • 'Traveller' keyword
  • Powerful magic item keyword
  • Special species keyword (Giant, Demon, Fay etc)

Boost a keyword to 4M instead of 17

This represents about 7 to 10 years experience, or a lot of natural talent.


Extraordinary ability

This is a single ability starting around 10M2.


Extremely broad ability

Augment applicable to almost any roll (e.g. Luck 17).


Make up your own

Anything else linking your concept into the rules without making your character too advantaged compared with others.


Thanks to Mike Holmes for this house rule. It's good for characters to have a strong schtick, which I think this rule provides.
